Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Lemon balm leaves Fresh, or 2 tbsp dried
  • 4 cups Water Boiling
  • 1 tbsp Lemon juice Freshly squeezed
  • 1/2 tsp Fresh ginger Grated
  • 1 tbsp Honey Optional, for sweetness
  • 2-3 slices Lemon For garnish
  • Few leaves Mint For garnish

Equipment

  • 1 Saucepan For boiling water
  • 1 Strainer To strain herbs
  • 1 Pitcher or Jar For serving

Method
 

  1. Bring 4 cups of water to a boil in a saucepan.
  2. Remove from heat and add lemon balm leaves and grated ginger.
  3. Cover and let steep for 10–15 minutes.
  4. Strain into a pitcher or jar.
  5. Stir in fresh lemon juice.
  6. Sweeten with honey if desired.
  7. Pour over ice and garnish with lemon slices and mint leaves.

Notes

  • Drink 1–2 cups daily for best results.
  • Add green tea for extra fat-burning effect.
  • Can be consumed warm before bed or iced during the day.
  • Store refrigerated for up to 2 days.
