Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Unsalted Butter Softened
  • 1 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1 Egg Large
  • 25 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 0.5 tsp Baking Powder
  • Halloween Sprinkles Optional for decoration
  • Food Coloring Orange black, green optional
  • Icing For decorating cooled cookies

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add egg and vanilla extract. Mix until fully combined.
  4. Gradually add flour and baking powder, mixing until dough forms.
  5. Divide dough and add food coloring if desired.
  6. Roll out dough on a floured surface. Use Halloween cookie cutters to shape.
  7. Place on baking sheet and bake for 8–10 minutes.
  8. Let cookies cool on a wire rack before decorating with icing and sprinkles.

Notes

  • You can freeze the dough in advance.
  • For crispier cookies, bake an extra 1–2 minutes.
  • Let icing set fully before storing.
