Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Fresh fruit juice Orange, grape, or mixed juice
  • 2-3 tbsp Gelatin powder Grass-fed preferred
  • 1-2 tbsp Raw honey Optional, omit for children under 1
  • 1-3 tsp Cod liver oil Start with 1 tsp
  • 1 tsp Vitamin C powder Optional
  • 0.25 tsp Grated ginger Optional, for flavor and health boost
  • 0.25 tsp Turmeric Optional, for anti-inflammatory benefit

  • 1/2 cup Orange juice Fresh squeezed preferred

Equipment

Method
 

  1. Pour the juice into a small saucepan. Sprinkle the gelatin evenly over the surface and let it sit for 1 minute to bloom.
  2. Turn on low heat and stir the mixture continuously until the gelatin fully dissolves. Do not boil.
  3. Remove the saucepan from heat. Let it cool slightly for 1–2 minutes.
  4. Add honey, cod liver oil, and any optional ingredients. Stir well to fully combine.
  5. Carefully pour the mixture into silicone molds or a greased glass dish.
  6. Refrigerate for 1–2 hours or until fully set.
  7. Remove from molds and store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.

Notes

  • Always add cod liver oil after removing the mixture from heat to preserve its nutrients.
  • Try different juice combinations to mask the flavor better, such as berry blends or citrus ginger.
  • Gummies can be frozen for longer storage. Freeze individually, then transfer to a container and use within 2 months.
  • Stir thoroughly after adding cod liver oil to prevent separation.
  • These gummies are great for both adults and kids, but consult your pediatrician for toddler use.
